What? New ? That is a good question!
As a producer I imagine I have a reputation for being a pit bull terrier, but I don? t know anybody who survives the independent film circuit with out being a strong-minded person. Most people respect my desire for perfection and if perfection doesn? t happen they know to run, run , run. But seriously my funniest moment in film -making was when we turned up at the Brow Well, during Red Rose to find that the well was dry and the next time it would fill up was in three weeks! The water table had shrunk, but we found an alternative!
My most difficult moment, was in ? The Winter Warrior? when I got stuck with a puncture on my car tyre in a torrential rain storm on a mountainous road in Argyll. The rain had caused landslides behind me and I was glad to drive out of there. I have since learned how to change a tyre, at least in theory !
